"The restaurant staff were very good, but the food wasn’t great. The pool lifeguard with the towels was so rude nearly every day. It’s a shame you don’t get basic amenities in the room like water and better bathroom amenities. "

"To start the trip, the staff at the front desk was lovely which made our initial impression positive. As we entered the villa there were ants on the counter tops and in the bathroom.
As our stay progressed, the ant infestation got progressively worse. We finally decided to speak to the receptionists, where they told us it was our fault for not coming earlier to report the problem. A man entered our room without us knowing to clean out the ants. They did not give us any compensation for this....

"There is so much to be impressed by at this hotel. When walking through the main entrance you are surrounded by Spanish culture. The breakfast has everything you would expect in a big hotel croissants, coffee, cereal, cheeses and meat etc. but in a beautiful Spanish room. There is a sitting room with piano, a small library with table. The room had lots of beautiful furnishings. The balcony had table and two chairs. Everything in the Expedia photos is what you will see."

"Stayed at Hotel Alta Montaña and it delivered exactly what you want from a mountain base.
Clean, quiet, and well run. The staff are genuinely welcoming, not just polite, which makes a difference when you’re staying a few days. The views are outstanding, especially sitting above the cloud layer at around 1,400 meters.
From a cycling standpoint, the location is hard to beat. You’re essentially on the climb the moment you roll out. You can head straight toward Teide or descend as far as you like...

"Wir waren für 6 Nächte in einer Junior Suite mit Meerblick und hatten All Inclusive gebucht. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber (bis auf die Armaturen im Bad). Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und schmackhaft (bis auf den Abend mit Chinesischem Essen) mit einer sehr guten Auswahl. Das Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dass der Aufenthalt im Spa Bereich (Innenpool und Whirlpool) extra gekostet hat, fanden wir ungerechtfertigt."
