"Used Hostal Roma to break the drive between Santander and Marbella. This was excellent value. The room was basic but clean, the staff were young and enthusiastic and the checkout was quick and problem free. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise with good food at reasonable prices and essential as there is pretty much nothing going on in the village. "Really enjoyed our stay. One slight issue was on the sunday night I asked for some hot water in a flask. The kind desk person took me to the bar area. The person behind the bar then filled the flask. I said thank you. The bar lady looked at me and shrugged her shoulders. She did not speak. She was a bad advert for the hotel"
