The property dates back to 1380 and the rooms are decorated with choicest artifacts that adds greatly to the experience. The location is fantastic too with the local market and restaurants in easy walking reach. The breakfast service is fabulous with many choices and Lorenzo himself is great chef as well! "We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel , but it is a bit of a trek into Florence . If you choose to walk it's about an hour or you can get the bus but that takes between 20 minutes with no traffic to over 40 minutes at busy times . We did use taxis occasionally but they are expensive 30 euros into town each way. But it was lovely to return to the peace and quiet after a long day sightseeing and using their wonderful swimming pool."
