The pictures posted of the hotel were "doctored" and very much
misleading as to the cleanliness and overall image as a "resort" There was mold on several lampshades, dried crusty food on floors, baseboards and in microwave in kitchen. Neither of the two smoked detectors were on the wall or even in the room which is a very dangerous building code violation and unsafe for your guests especially with a stovetop appliance in the room. Graffiti on walls and furniture along with stained couch and bedding sheets that were present upon our arrival. There was also no table provided for the two chairs to eat from if we were to have actually used the dirty kitchen appliances.
The shower curtain and rod were very rusty and dirty along with the grout that badly needed replaced. We could never have know this condition was this bad prior to arriving so could not have cancelled 3 days early based on this. We insist this be refunded entirely so we do not need to take this matter to the BBB and building code inspectors. Simply
having the integrity as a business owner to make this terrible experience right would be the best thing you could do for us. Would definitely NEVER recommend this place under it’s current ownership until they invest in making the much needed repairs and cleaning before they keep your money for a room we couldn't stay in.
