Great location and good value

We went to Vitebsk with the purpose of visiting the Marc Chagall sites and this hotel was in a great location for that as it was a 3 minute walk from the art center. It was also close to the church and the main strip. The big town square with the Christmas tree was only a 15 minute walk. The suite was large and affordable. The restaurant served great pancakes for breakfast.

If the USSR had WiFi and cable TV

Fine for my purposes, friendly staff and reasonably priced. The only thing I would not recommend is the restaurant: I am glad breakfast wasn't included because it didn't start until EIGHT o'clock and it most certainly was not worth waiting for. However, I had a nice big room *with a fridge* and there's a supermarket just around the corner where you can get food, drink and toiletries (you'll need to go further for your caffeine fix, but YandexGo is probably the answer to that one) Also the pizzeria just across the main road is very good.

Booked through hotels.com. When arrived to check in front desk person told me that they do not work with Hotels.com. Neither confirmation number or credit card I paid for hotel worked. Had to go to another hotel at 2am. Stay away!!! 0 stars
