"Wonderful accommodations and fantastic location--very close to the terminal with ferries for the Aeolian Islands. We stayed just one night, on our journey from Catania to the islands, but we will return and stay longer in this hotel!"

"We loved Upper Rooms. As a note to anyone staying here, be sure to contact owner at least 24 hours in advance to get check in information. Our room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds and pillows and a nice little balcony overlooking the marina. We found food within walking distance and the morning breakfast was satisfying."

"We stayed four nights and loved this place! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. The terrace on the roof was a nice place to spend time in the afternoon and evening, but it was too hot in the morning without any way to block the morning sun."

"Das Zimmer war sehr gross und sauber. Kommunikation ausschliesslich über Whatsapp. Unsere Frage bezüglich eines empfohlenen Parkplatzes wurde leider erst nach einigen Stunden und somit erst nach Ankunft beantwortet. Mussten uns somit selbst organisieren. Man erhält einen Gutschein für ein kleines Frühstück (ein Getränk und ein Croissant) im naheliegenden Kaffee - das war super. Im Grossen und Ganzen ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!"
