"The location is stunning, we had a room looking over the harbour. Room was clean, spacious, good bed, dark curtains, lift available to get upstairs with luggage. I would have loved ground coffee option instead of the instant coffee, particularly because it was a more expensive room. Staff was friendly except the South African receptionist who checked us in and who came across cold. Great stay, we will return when travelling to Picton again."

"We were surprised with how close this was from the Interislander baggage claim, got there in about 3mins. This was great news because our ferry was delayed due to the awful weather on the Strait. The owner was there at reception well after 9pm to let us in. The owners were also very helpful, told us where to get supplies from and even let us leave our bag at reception while we went into town. On that note, it's also very close to town too, just a stones throw. "

My first night was unexpected—I needed an ambulance to the local hospital after a fall on the ferry—but the staff at Bay Vista were incredibly attentive throughout the whole ordeal. They checked on me during the ambulance visit and followed up the next day to make sure I was doing okay (four sutures along my hairline). "We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Beachside Sunnyvale Motel. Colin and Tomoko were incredible hosts, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their kindness.
