"Helpful staff and pleasant room. The toilet flush needs attention and the sink plug was stuck. I was surprised to find the food and bar facilities closed on a Sunday.I didn’t have a car and had not brought food, expecting to have a meal in the restaurant. I was able to walk to a nearby cafe but it seems there should be notification of this policy or at least bar food available"

"Property was very clean and had modern appliances. The living area and the patio offered a great view of the nearby mountains. It was conveniently located near the town center so walking to restaurants and shop was easily manageable. The bed in the main room was slightly uncomfortable – it felt like it was two adjoining twin-beds and you can sense the seam between the two beds with a slight slant towards the edge of the bed. There were a couple of kitchen amenities that we had expected, but were missing: no sponge to scrub dishes with and no paper towels. Since it was past the office hours when we realized this, it was just easier to purchase these at the local grocery store. It advertised on their outdoor sign that Netflix was available, but you must have a personal account to access it."

"Absolutely fantastic place to stay. The view from the veranda over the lake is amazing. The apartment has plenty of space and everything you need. It even had egg cups. Brilliant!! If I ever come back to Wanaka I'll be staying back here again."
