"Hotel Metropol was perfect for our quick stay in Basel. It is located steps from the train station. The staff is helpful. When we arrived before check in to ask if we could store our luggage while sightseeing, they said our rooms were ready and allowed us to check in early. How nice! We were able to walk all over the city from our hotel. We enjoyed our one-night stay here. We were not able to have breakfast at the hotel as we had an early departure the next morning. We would recommend staying here. "

Our room was ready ahead of time and everyone we met that worked for the hotel was nice and extremely helpful. The breakfast was outstanding and was great even for us as vegans. "Room was spotless and modern, blackout blinds, AC, amazing bedding and different firmness pillows, coffee and water. Rainfall shower. Really can't fault the room. Breakfast has everything you could want and was all fresh. Location was in the centre of everything and 5 mins from train station. Would definitely recommend "
