Capitol Plaza Hotel Montpelier Tapestry Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"A great hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed there during the 4th of July and the parade was in front of the hotel. The fireworks were behind the hotel. There is parking in a lot. The restaurant attached to the hotel is great. Would highly recommend this hotel."

"Our family had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, which made it easy for everyone to relax and enjoy our vacation.
One of the highlights was the warm and helpful staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist when needed.
The breakfast dining room was spacious, with comfortable seating arrangements that easily accommodated guests even during busy hours. We especially appreciated that the breakfast offerings were served warm and were well-seasoned without being overly salty.
The hotel also provides several thoughtful touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. Guests have 24/7 access to hot water and tea bags, making it easy to enjoy a hot drink at any time of day. Having a microwave in the room was another great convenience for our family.
What impressed us most was that the hotel was able to meet the needs of all generations in our group. From our 80-year-old family members to those in their 20s, everyone felt comfortable and enjoyed their stay.
We highly recommend this hotel to families and travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay. We would be happy to return in the future."
"This place is wonderful. Super clean. Bathroom shower/tub was so shiny. Beds clean and comfortable. Loved the full fridge with the built-in ice maker. We really enjoyed that. It was nice to have a stovetop too and the toaster. The sink even had a garbage disposal. They have frozen dinners for sale if you forget to bring your own and they sell ice cream as the fridge has the freezer. We will definitely stay there again. Best place and very reasonably priced too.
My only issue was the super big/thick pillows. Luckily I did bring my own.
Over all it is a really terrific place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very, very clean.
I highly recommend this place."
"For nowhere Vermont, this is a little gem. There is a creek nearby that adds to that out in nature experience. This was the first time experience with a online check-in with no front desk attendant. It worked out okay, but very different from the normal 24 hrs. front desk attendant."
"Loved the coffee area and open help yourself set-up.
Shower did not have conditioner
Towels are very thin
Very tight to share with 2 other people, very small room.
But clean so that was good."
