"The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff helpful. We especially appreciated the staff on the morning we departed who called us a taxi and served us expresso as we waited. The restaurant meal we had was also excellent."

"We had the most wonderful stay at Blackwell House in Scarva! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome — nothing was too much trouble. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, full of charm and character, with every little detail thought of to make guests feel at home. The food was incredible (and plentiful!) and the rooms were spotless, cosy, and luxurious all at once. It’s one of those rare places where you can truly switch off and relax, and yet still feel utterly spoiled....

"Stayed just for 1 night having stayed the same time last year. Staff were superb, friendly and welcoming, they acknowledged they remembered us! We noticed the small touches like the amenity kit in the room containing toothpaste, razor etc etc - just about anything you'd have forgotten! Lovely big bed, everything felt clean and loved in what's clearly an older property. Breakfast was continental, seems more choice with mini pastries added alongside cereals, breads for toasting, fruit, yoghurt,...

"The house is perfect and its setting is beautiful in the Mourne ANOB. The host's attention to details, full of thoughtful touches, and the selection of quality furniture took our stay to a whole new level, even comparing to some top branded hotels. "Drumee Lodge is a beautiful property, in a picturesque location, close to the Mourne Mountains. The property is stunning and the hosts are fantastic.
