Stroll along the historic waterfront where fishing boats unload their daily catch and sea lions bask on the docks. Explore Fort Stevens State Park's shipwreck remains at low tide or bike the scenic river trail connecting to neighbouring Astoria.
Well located hotel with helpful friendly staff in a lovely dockside building with an interior design which complements its heritage. Would not hesitate to go back

Breakfast was not very good and they checked us out when we still had not checked out and sent our bags down to front desk. The cleaning guy was very rude to me.

A great stay in Astoria, very comfortable room and lovely reception, very helpful. On street parking was simple. The perfect location to explore Astoria on foot. We walked all over and had a brilliant time. We stayed in king suite A which was great but it was very noisy as the door opened right to the reception, and not everyone respected quiet hours. They did provide earplugs, which was helpful. Sisu brewery was a great spot for food and drinks and had table service, vs the Fort George across...

Really nice hotel in a great location but careful as they don’t have maid service unless you ask. We were told this at check in to be fair and asked that we have it (nothing worse on holiday than being out all day and coming back to wet towels and unmade beds) but they still didn’t do it then basically told us we never asked!!!!!!
Shame as great little hotel.

Fabulous views of the Ocean and Haystack rock from our room. All staff very polite and helpful. Great amenities at the hotel and some fun surprises.
Lots of attention to detail to ensure a pleasant experience. The hotel restaurant is really good too. Well priced with superbly attentive staff.

Great room with balcony overlooking Columbia River. Interesting to have the railroad to watch the trains go by but the double glazing was effective at night so not an issue for us. A bit expensive for the River/mountain view on a Friday night but decided it was worth it coming from UK.
Staff very friendly and helpful.

Only a short walk to the beach to view Haystack Rock. The kids loved the complimentary cookies at reception and the wild rabbits keeping the lawns short. Loads of options for food in walkable distance or a short drive. Really enjoyable few nights in Cannon Beach
