"First of all it could not be found. My sat nav couldn't find it. Varney Rd did not have a street sign and I don't think 44 actually exists. It took over 1 hour to locate this den. The key lockbox is situated on a wall, unmarked, and with all adjacent doors un numbered, on what can only be described as wasteland behind some shops. Once I located the keys (2) I brought my car around to park on this wasteland and was met by a couple of males getting their 'ladies' ready for work. The doors in this...

"Prices were very low and safe. There is a fast food restaurant nearby, which is convenient. Note that there was shampoo and soap, but no amenities such as hairdryers or toothbrushes. No air-conditioning, which can be a bit painful in hot weather. Heat can easily build up. Also, note that this is an accommodation for international students who stay here for more than a few months, and it is rare to find a guest like me on Expedia who only stays for 3-4 days and uses it like a hotel. Top Wartnaby Hotel Reviews

The Link Hotel Loughborough

8/10 Good

"Great buffet breakfast, didn't have an evening meal so can't comment but they looked delicious. Parking was one of the main reasons I chose the hotel with free and plentiful spaces. Rooms clean and quiet but the bar is a bit pricey."

voco Leicester by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Perfect Experience Second time staying at the hotel Alex at the reception desk was fantastic. Great customer service & people skills. A real credit to the company. Last time I was here the only fault was being in a interconnecting room as you could hear all the irritating noise from the children next door This time the room and therefor the whole experience was perfect Clean room, spacious, great facilities, comfortable bed with a variety of pillows and the shower was as good as you get from a standard room in a UK hotel Voco be my first choice when I return to Leicester in the future"
