"Hotel is very clean. The building its very beautiful, and there are options to choose the rooms. Restaurant is lovely too. Very good location with sightseeing. Downside is the wall is a bit thin, but this is quite common in most hotels. Would definitely recommend to anyone."

"The hotel and facilities are absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well maintained and the rooms modern. However, we experienced multiple issues with the disorganisation of the hotel and staff. When booking the spa the online booking system didn’t work, I tried to book over the phone and was passed from staff member to staff member and put on hold multiple times. When I finally managed to book, the confirmation email I received revealed the treatments were booked wrong. And it took another load of back and forth to correct. We had ordered two vegan meals for lunch, one was incorrect and we waited 40 minutes for a replacement. The staff had run out of a few of the cocktails on the already limited menu and once we finally managed to order something they did have, the service was very slow. When checking into our room, the staff at reception sent us in the wrong direction, so we ended up walking up and down the stairs and across the hotel with very heavy bags. The room was lovely and spacious, but we booked it for 4 people and the sink was blocked, meaning it took a while to drain which was not ideal for so many people using it. The spa treatments were lovely, the staff were very talented and products used felt of good quality. The facilities were nice and clean. Overall I would book again, as it is a beautiful hotel, but lacking organisation."

"Never staying at this hotel again after a litany of failures, including a collapsed mattress in one room and a blocked toilet in the room we were switched to due to the collapsed mattress. When I reported the issue with the toilet, I was then offered the room with the collapsed mattress again! I’ve stayed at the Jephson many times over the last few years, knowing it was pretty basic, but I feel the hotel has got much worse over time."

"Had a fabulous 2 night stay in a balcony room for our anniversary. The room was lovely as was the balcony, especially on the hottest day of the year! The hotels location was perfect, just minutes from bars and restaurants yet it was peaceful and quiet when sat in the outside terrace. Breakfast was delicious, the eggs Benedict was just what we fancied. It was so good we had it both mornings. Would highly recommend this hotel."

"We overall had a wonderful stay, however there were a few areas that improvements are needed. The good - -Rooms very spacious (and thank god for the aircon in the heat). -The property was clean and also had a wonderful garden area. It’s really close to everything as well. -Breakfast was also really good value for money with everything you can think of available. -Friendly staff The bad -Check in. Minimal staff to check guests in at 3pm (check in time) so was extremely long wait. Were offered free drinks from the bar as an apology (which turned out to be a limited selection when claiming when that were not made aware of when first given them, however they are aware of how many guests are checking in on what day, staffing accordingly would make sense. -Bathroom really needs updating - the shower over the bath has zero pressure. The anti slip severely stained, as is the plug hole. Tap for sink also only just hangs over the sink so when washing hands, water goes everywhere. We were also unfortunately to find hairs from previous guest still in the bath -Cleaners. On morning of check out, we were making most of our room before leaving due to us not wanting to be too early to where we were heading onto. Around 9:30 the cleaner knocked to see if we were still present. Made her aware that we didn’t plan on leaving until around 10:30/10:45. 20 minutes later she knocked again and seemed extremely annoyed that we were still there."

"It was okay to stay in. Having McDonald’s next to the place was handy haha. At the time we went, the lift was out of service which was a pain as we had a toddler and a buggy with bags. Staff were very friendly :)"

"The room was lovely with a really nice en suite shower. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was tasty. There was adequate parking availablewhich was payable at the hotel. The carpets were very worn, especially on the stairs but everywhere was clean."
