An incredible location and so comfortable. Josh and family were very welcoming. We didn't have a chance to see the lake and other parts of the grounds but we plan to come back!

Such a lovely place, great views, great nature sights, lovely staff

It’s one of two places to stay in machias. I think, if the motel has been busier we would have been bothered by noise since we could hear people talking, and they were not exactly standing outside our door. Weather wasn’t good so we were lucky we didn’t have that problem. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I wasn’t happy to walk on the floor with bare feet, they need to replace the carpet with vinyl or similar. Prices are high, must be because there’s really no competition.

Hosts were lovely, accommodation was spotless and a lovely breakfast provided. The only issue is our room had a shared door with another and we could hear all their evening antics. But other than that a lovely stay at the inn!

Would definitely return. Breakfast was great and great location.

Stayed with 2 young kids - 2 queens - was a huge room with plenty of space for suitcases open etc. stayed 3 nights and was a fab location in bar harbor. Free parking was great and handy to have free breakfast included too. Jordan’s pancakes for breakfast across the road as an alternative was also convenient. Walkable to everything in bar harbor and fab base to explore Acadia national park.

Great staff, immaculate cleanliness, super decor, delightful food, excellent location. Everything has been thought of to make your stay the best and most fruittful that it could be.

A nice spacious room with good facilities. Grab and go breakfast was handy. The location was easy walk into town and to restaurants. An easy drive to Acadia. The best thing was how friendly and welcoming the staff were and all the good local reccomendations.

Great views and handy for shuttle into town

This is a lovely Inn and the ocean views are fantastic. The staff is very friendly. The spa is lovely. Had a meal in the Reading Room which was excellent. Our room was ok and spacious but the bed was a little uncomfortable.

Lovely stay at Acadia Inn - very clean with great staff and amenities. Very good breakfast with changing hot options. S’mores over the fire pit was also great too. About a 20 minute walk into beautiful Bar Harbor but we made use of the free shuttle bus system that operates in the area . Thoroughly recommend
