"Room had roaches. 1st impression as soon as I unlocked door. 1st thing to see was a roach. Called front desk. They came immediately and sprayed the floor but it didn't help. I had went to get groceries and as we put food in the refrigerator it went out. My husband moved it to reset it. As he moved the refrigerator, roaches ran everywhere. Staff stated all rooms were full for the night. Two days later they had vacant rooms but too late! We had spent a lot of money and traveled a long way with no other place to stay, so this left a bad taste for any other experiences at the hotel. Only good thing was pool was kid friendly and entertaining! As we checked out, worker ask about my stay. I made a sad face and told her. She checked and genuinely seemed to care. She said we would discount for 1st night's stay. I appreciated it because this was a lot to pay to room with roaches. We were not even able to unpack the whole trip and lived out our suitcases, with fear of taking bugs home with us!😡"
