This hotel was very dirty and dingy. Carpets are worn and a clear traffic path down the center of the carpet. The walls were dirty and needed paint. The elevator was filthy. This trip was for my wife’s and my 54th wedding anniversary and we were very disappointed. We ended up spending 1 night but checked out the next day incurring a cancellation fee. I will protest that charge when my credit card bill comes.

I made a reservation for my daughter and I at the Westin hotel for one night and I am not a very picky person so what I can say about the hotel is from my perspective as an occasional guest. They gave us standard room 1223 on the 12th floor, the last one by the way. What I can say in terms of infrastructure is good, a little old but maintains its design with that feeling of being outside. The location was not bad but I had the inconvenience that I stayed at this hotel where the gay pride parade was just going to happen. I left in the morning and when I returned it was impossible to go to the hotel, it was not my intention to stay watching the parade and I was frustrated that they did not allow me to go to the hotel. It has a bar in the lobby, they provide you with free bottles of water, and there is a Starbucks that saved my life in the morning because at least I could have a coffee (I don't like using the coffee maker that hotels provide) since I don't I had the opportunity to have breakfast at the hotel, I only saw that the buffet was good, the typical American breakfast and it had a price of $29.00, breakfast is not included in the hotel rate. As for parking, prices are around $22 for two hours and about $51 a night. This time I traveled by Uber, bus and subway. The staff was very attentive, I am grateful that they let me take the room before check-in time, being a Marriott Bonvoy member helped a lot for this occasion.

NO ONE informed me that it was the weekend of the "pride parade" and that the One Way Street the hotel was on (the only way to access the hotel and parkimg garage) was CLOSED OFF!! Checking in was a t 3pm but we could not even get to our holtel until after 7pm when the streets were reopened! Smh... After driving around for over 2 hours (around the entire 3hr parage route) because I had no clue what to do, I finally asked a police officer who said there was nothing that could be done and No way to access the road until after the parade ended at 7pm. I was forced to be late to my 630 check in and 730 show at the DAR. Smh... All kiind of important information don't you think???

Over all had a great stay for the night before my wedding. We order flowers to come to the room, and out card was charged, however the flowers were never delivered. I followed up a couple times even after my stay, I was told someone would get back to me but they never did.
