"The room was sad with stained curtains falling off of the rod, a bent screen in the window, streaked mirror, and a hair dryer that did not work. Despite this, the linens were clean and the bed was comfortable, so we did sleep well. The staff were friendly and did care that the room we ended up in was one that has not been renovated."

"Beautiful property and lovely rooms. Staff very helpful but I had an issue with being charged for my room even though it was prepaid via Expedia. It took four phone calls to get the correct person to take care of the issue after I checked out. This probably isn’t a normal issue for most guests. There is free coffee in room which is best to use as the hotel restaurant was understaffed so best to relax and don’t expect to rush through breakfast. Housekeeping was on point and room was immaculate."
