"Hotel was very clean only downfall was in the middle of the night the fire alarm went off twice causing an evacuation at 2am and 4am for no apparent reason. "

Drive does not go around motel but plenty of parking either side. Close to fuel, dining, shopping, interstate. Very good accommodation for a fair price. Would recommend and stay again."

"This hotel opened its restaurant at 5 a.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2026, for breakfast for guests who were booked for a train excursion that boarded at 7 a.m. What excellent service. We talked to other people who had stayed at other local hotels and were told that some hotels did not alter their hours to accommodate this important event (the train ride to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States). Kudos to the Doubletree in Newark, Ohio."
