Very pleased with our stay at this hotel. Clean, friendly, spacious, good breakfast, nice pool and a lot less expensive than other hotels we checked in the area. It's a little tired/aged but all the other factors more than compensated. Staff were great too.

Deborah was extremely helpful on reception and assisted me getting a cab to the airport, she went above and beyond the line of duty, she was run off her feet busy due to a staff member not turning up for work but she still persevered and got my taxi booked. The other member of staff on the earlier shift although polite and friendly just responded by suggesting "get an uber". I don't use uber and was really struggling until Deborah got it sorted. She even left a message for the next lady on the...

The paving from the parking area up to the hotel entrance was quite uneven, wirh one dropped kerb onto a steep path that was covered in a light dusting of snow.
The receptionist was very pleasant upon arriving. Smiling and greeting us.
Although we arrived via a late flight, we could have liked a porter to assist with our baggage to the room, or a luggage trolley, especially as the carpeted corridors made it difficult for our suitcase wheels to traverse.
