"One of the most amazing aspects of our stay was meeting Erni, who greeted us when we walked into the reception area. Her face lit up smiling and she knew our names, not sure how so I’m guessing she looked us up in advance on the internet or something. Anyway, it was a nice surprise. When we told her that the next day we will miss being able to get breakfast because we have to leave at 7:30am for a reserved outdoor activity, she offered to prepare a special private breakfast for us at 7:00am. There were five of us (my husband, two adult daughters, son in-law and myself), and she said no problem. The next morning when we arrived in the dining room, she had prepared a feast on a table nicely decorated and set. We couldn’t believe the variety and portions that she prepared. There was a large platter full of sliced meats & cheeses, separate fruit bowls of freshly cut pineapple, grapes, plums, a basket full of different breads, buns, croissants filled with chocolate-mmm to die for, carafes of juices, a pitcher of coffee, and lastly freshly cooked scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon in a large cast iron pan that would be enough to feed 10 people. We were all in awe with the delicious breakfast, and we felt that we were treated like royalty. Erni was very friendly, and went over the top accommodating our schedule. We booked 2 rooms and it was very nice being right next to each other. We loved the extra private room in the back where one of my daughters stayed. It was perfect."

"Incredible views, great food, kind staff that helped my daughter with a bee sting, comfy room with huge bathroom which is rare. My only recommendation is that they put screens on windows in the summer so without air conditioning you can have windows open for the evening breeze without bees/spiders coming in. Would still recommend this hotel regardless.... loved it."
