"Arrived at 8pm. Manager very rude, told me I had arrived way past check in time which was 3pm and I was lucky I arrived when I did as he was just going home. Also, I was too late if I wanted food. On checking my booking confirmation fro Expedia and The Spice Ship, booking in is until 9.30pm. Room was nice, bed very comfortable. Selection of teas, coffees and a hot chocolate which was nice. "The Superior Double room was very comfortable, fresh and clean. The vanity area outside the bathroom was super convenient as was the number of outlets for charging tech. Staff were helpful and friendly. Parking was a short walk away but there was a drop-off zone next to the entrance. Great for our one-night stopover."

"Parking was right outside but you have to pay. Slow service for check in and the man already waiting for assistance said he’d been there 10 minutes! We couldn’t even get a bowl of chips from the restaurant and were made to feel bad because we didn’t prebook. Plus 8pm was the time you could get a meal which is very late for many. The room smelt musty, bathroom fan didn’t work, no fridge, loo roll almost out etc"
