"We stayed at Earthbox Inn and Spa for 2 nights in July. The room was clean and was on the top floors, so we also had a nice little patio with partial views. The check-in process was smooth, the staff helped hold our bags till we could check in. There's a cafe within the property, which we found was decent if you're in a rush (or maybe we just ran into them on a bad day and had to wait 30+ mins for a smoothie and coffee). "This has to be the most thoughtful and quaint place we have ever stayed! The small details make everything flawless! From the chocolates beside the bed, to the ear plugs and face masks, bathrobes and slippers, even shower steamers! I wish we would have stayed here the whole trip!"

"This is a throw-back to the days of the good old motor lodge. A tiki bar bar, for starters but a tiki bar with good local beer. A wonderful shaded pool area. Light switches that are self-evident and don't require an engineering degree to figure out. Instructions to housekeeping that are followed. You know what I am talking about. The one downside? "Claudia is an amazing host!! She works so hard to bake breakfast and desserts from scratch for the guests to enjoy. There were always fruits available to snack on at all times which was nice. Everything was super clean!! Loved the quiet feel of the Trumpeter as it is about 10 min away from the chatter of the downtown Friday Harbor. "This inn is a beautifully located, wonderfully quiet and restful location near North Beach, 1 mile away from the shops and restaurants of Eastsound. The Goldfinch Room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. Breakfasts are out of this world! Hostess Jill was lovely and very helpful with everything. Highly recommended!"
