"Great stay at L7 Hotel Chicago. Excellent location within the Loop to access all attractions and excellent dining within walking distance. Room was a little dark given only one window, however would definitely recommend."

"Affordable option less than a block off Michigan avenue. While it is an older property, the room was very clean, and the staff did an excellent job refreshing the room each morning. Our room was on the inside of the building and we heard NO city noise during the night. Easy access to the train and buses. Very good Thai restaurant right next door, as well as a small diner for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Carpet in the room was very dirty and frayed at the edges. The passages were also dated and grungy. The bed was as clean and comfortable. Well located for walking and sightseeing."
Palmer House a Hilton Hotel

"The Palmer House is a very old but classic hotel. Terrible views out the windows. There are no pretty views. The bathrooms are old. The corners of the floors are very dirty. The shower had hairs on the wall from the last person that stayed there and there is black mold on the grout of the shower. The very old tub is hard to get in and out of and slippery. I felt bad for housekeeping. We came in the day after Lollapalooza was over and housekeeping were cleaning rooms way past 10pm because the rooms were filthy dirty and muddy from the concert goers. The staff at the Palmer House are very friendly and helpful. This hotel is very close to public transportation: the bus and the "L", Great location, just 1 block off Michigan Ave. Lots of places eat within walking distance."

"Regina should receive more pay(that’s my 2 cents. She didn’t mention or ask me to say this about her pay)! She was everything!! Friendly, helpful and very informative. Peaceful location. I enjoyed the sounds of the city, ASMR for sure. The room was clean, the water pressure was perfect. Bed was comfortable and the pillows had the right amount of fluff!"
