"Black spider in my bed. Switched to another room. Glob of hair in the shower drain and shower threshold. I was told the manager would give me a call after I checked out..... never happened. Wouldn't recommend. Newer property, expected more."

"One of the worst places I have ever stayed at. Rooms smelled dirty everything was old and damaged . Very shady people around I did not feel safe at all. The morning buffet was not a buffet at all - they served you the hot food like eggs and bacon then you were allowed to get your own toast and fruit. Very low quality rooms need major upgrade and even the stirs going up were is disrepair. The staff was not pleasant barely even looked at me when we checked in."

"This is a basic motel for a good night stay. Location is convenient. It has enough parking. Staff was helpful."

"The room had fresh paint and was clean. But it was in extreme need of an update. There were only two electrical outlets available to charge devices and furniture had to be moved to access them. The furniture was poor quality and had to be over 30 years old. The window shade and curtains do not block out the outdoor lights at night. And the local train goes by several times throughout the night. It was not a comfortable stay at Inn on the Hudson."

"The front desk staff could be a bit more professional. When I arrived there was no one at the front desk and then when they realized I was standing there, I was ignored while they were talking in the back office. Breakfast was the usual minimal stuff. Oh well... you get what you paid for."

While I expected a pet fee, I thought it was high and concluded that after our experience, they didn't do much to earn it. Plus, it was not easy to determine whether the hotel was pet friendly on the Expedia site and there was no mention of a pet fee that I could find and I actively looked. (I found a pet policy on the hotel website but did not know what the fee was...
