"I went to Goa after 10yrs! Booked LA after landing. I wanted to stay in a typical Goan/Portuguese home instead of a hotel. LA everything I expected and more. From the ambience of restored charm, to the frinedly and helpful staff Jokin & Patrick were exception in guiding me to places, arranging transportation, to allowing me for a late check out. "Hotel is beautiful....rooms are a delight. Must say We Upgraded from the Haveli to the Hotel,as you check in at the hotel,but THE HAVELI is a few KM away. Didn’t make sense so as we were tired paid and upgraded to the HOUSE OF M.G. NO ROOM SERVICE.....breakfast in a restaurant outside,nearly by the road. "The hotel is situated in Manek Chowk which is bustling with people. It may not be possible for you to take your car inside hence it is recommended that u travel by rickshaw or you can go to house of mg and they will provide a shuttle to the hotel. The hotel has a calm aura lovely facilities in the room at a very very reasonable price. This is a heritage property and if you are in love with such properties, then this is a must stay hotel in ahmedabad. "

There’s a daily timetable with activities that are included in the cost of staying, mainly yoga, plus there’s a very healthy, delicious and reasonably priced cafe/restaurant so you don’t need to go hunting for somewhere outside to eat.
