Basic Hotel
We were looking for a Basic Hotel at the halfway point of our inland journey between Coffs Harbour and our destination in Victoria. This hotel fitted our requirements.

Just a place to sleep
Welcoming experience was bleak, at best. Room was clean but old and tired. No electric blanket and only a thin quilt and sheet on the bed. An extra blanket was provided and was a necessity on a cold wet winter night. We ate in the motel restaurant because of this and the food was cheap pub fare at best. Red wine by the glass was only available from a cask unless one bought the whole bottle. Bottled white wine was available by the glass. Shower was dated but nice and hot with good pressure. It has changed hands in recent years and we probably would not stay there again.

We enjoyed our night the room was clean and comfortable but we did find the bathroom small and quite difficult with my husband having some difficulty moving freely at present and requiring some assistance

Good location
Hotel is very basic but was clean and comfy. Bed could do with a new mattress - v lumpy. Good location and central to town. Nice pool. Comfy enough for a short stay.

Great Value at West Wyalong
Not a fancy motel, but excellent value and comfort. Room was spotless, lots of space for bags etc. -- good TV, good Air con, and very good bed.

DON'T GO OUT LOOKING FOR MEAL; SIMPLY HAVE A GREAT T-BONE STEAK IN THE RESTAURANT. IT CAN'T BE BEATEN!

On the plus side we had a good nights sleep as it was very quiet. Facilities are very basic and outdated. The wifi was good.

Another great stay
When we drive from Brisbane to Melbourne we stop here every time as its a good 12 hours drive from Brisbane to west wyalong... The staff are friendly, the meals are great and enough food to feed us both for days... We will definitely stay there again!!!

I phoned and asked if there was a microwave in the room and was told No but they would put one in for the night we would be staying there; which it was. The one thing which could have helped was if the motel had facilities listed on their page.

Passing through.
Clean, tidy and comfortable but a bit dated. No traffic noise and a very welcome oasis at the end of a long hot day. Staff were very obliging and friendly. Would I stay there again. Yes I would and will again. The bed was very comfortable and just the thing after a long hot day in the car. I was asleep moments after hitting the pillow. Thankyou for a very pleasant stay.

Bit run down, could do with a spruce up. Didn't like sharing with the spider in the bathroom. Bed and couch were comfy though.

Good economical place to spend the night
Cost is probably why your probably considering here, and after a long cold trip South its a good economical choice. Its not the flashiest place with the rooms looking slightly dated however are still perfectly functional and comfortable Cable TV was a welcome addition however the heater in our room was lacking in strength. Otherwise a fantastic motel which I will goto again.

A neat and tidy Motel at very reasonable rates. Friendly Staff. Clean facilities. Did not encounter any problems during our two night stay.

The place looked OK but bad service
I turned up at 9pm they close there doors at 830pm I rang the door bell continuously for half hour no one never came i rang there phone no one never answered so i left a message on there answering mechaine. I had to leave and find a another place.They rang me the next day and said they will refund me? I never recieved a refund!!!
