"A relaxing feel runs through the hotel and out into the gardens. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. Herons love it too! The staff were smiley and attentive, Our room was clean and the towels soft and fluffy. We made use of the spa facilities every day. The pool temperature was great for us."

"The room was very clean and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. We stayed just one night and had to leave early before breakfast was served, but we were provided with an excellent pack up with tea. Will definitely stay there again en route to ferry crossings."

"Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships."

"A very lovely, friendly and comfortable hotel. Staff were super friendly. Restaurant food was great. À la carte breakfast was also very good but there was no fruit offered which I was disappointed with. Times were also a little tight from breakfast, dinner, room cleaning and checkout but it was a small hotel so this is understandable. I would definitely stay here again. Thankyou."

"Our room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. The hotel has a different layout so depending on where your room is you may have to walk a long way to get to it or cut across the courtyard if it’s not raining. A bit in the middle of nowhere but ok if you have a car. Large parking lot but you have to pay."

"It was a very mixed stay, although overall it was positive. The first room we were given was very dirty. The walls in particular were yellow and marked, including hand prints on the walls and mould on the curtains (pictured attached). The room was very hot and the window didn't open - no air conditioning either. It was quite small and cramped. Premier inn would have been a lot better. "This place is anything but Royal. The pictures are a lie. The floor in our room was on a slant. The disgustingly filthy carpet covered a patchwork floor. The windows only opened about 2" and no AC. There was a fan that was covered in years of dust and grime and barely blew any air. I asked for another one. I got one that was 10" in diameter and was also filthy but not as bad. I cleaned it as best I could and it blew a bit better than the other one. The bathroom was 2 rooms that were 2' x 4'....
