Gingerbread cottages have rightly won a number of awards. They are genuine 1800s cottages, but with modern conveniences carefully added. The cottages are 'dressed'. almost like a film set, in genuine period items that will have many visitors exclaiming "my Granny had one of those!". Breakfast is a DIY affair, with plentiful food provided and replenished daily, including home made preserves and home baked fresh bread. A must as a base for exploring nearby Launceston (20 klicks away), the lovely...

Really enjoyed staying here. The room was great. The owners were more than hsppy to help to assist. Good parking and close to all town amenities.

Absolutely perfect place. Even had a kitchen you can use. Would definitely recommend.

This place is the best. After initial check-in, you have a spacious room to yourself-fully self contained. Bed,towels etc are first class and full access to the pool is a bonus- nice to look at even if you don't swim. All breakfast items provided. Highly recommended for a 20 minute run to the airport minus traffic.

Very clean, staff super helpful and friendly

The most amazing property, great room, clean & spacious. Great bed, slept like babies. The owners Linda & Andrea were fabulous. Warm welcoming & gave great advice for the area. We would definitely like to return if we visit the Southern Hemisphere again.

Very clean, comfortable rooms. Great view and modern bathroom. The restaurant on the same site was excellent. We're both vegan and found the option provided was really well cooked. We also found a few vegan wines. Staff all very friendly.

jMy two companions and I recently spent two nights at the Tamar Valley Apartments, and it was the absolute highlight of our trip to Northern Tasmania. If you’re looking for a spot that combines luxury with the convenience of a "home away from home," this is it. The Space & Amenities Traveling as a group of three, we really appreciated the layout and how incredibly well-equipped the apartment was. We’ve stayed in many rentals, but the facilities here were outstanding. The kitchen wasn't just a...

Lovely house, room and breakfast! Best sleep ever.

The ambience of this place was extraordinary ! You feel like you are sitting within history ! Really enjoyed our stay - peaceful , beautiful and very honoured to be staying within this historic estate .

Room spotless and spacious. Friendly staff.

Honestly one of the best places I've ever stayed. To start the included wine tasting is fun and the staff are super friendly. The dome iteslf is fantastic and well appointed. The outside bath and firepit just finish the whole place off! Stayed for two nights and enjoyed every minute.

Our stay was excellent. Right from check in until check out. We booked parking which was easy to find and easy to get your cases into the hotel. The room was a bit dated but it was immaculately clean, was a lovely size and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bar area was good and all the staff friendly. They had a happy hour between 5 and 6.30 where wine, beer and spirits were €8each. Ideal after a hard day exploring the lovely town of Launceston. We didn't eat at the hotel so...

Lovely spacious room. Staff all friendly and helpful.
