"Had a nice overall stay at the Luxor. It's a fairly good location on the Las Vegas strip, and has nice restaurants (like Diablos Cantina), and shows (Blue Man Group). The theming is fun as well. The general line for the customer service desk in the lobby, when we needed to request a different room, took a while - at least an hour. They were short staffed it seemed, at times having one representative available. But in the end, they were able to help us out and we were assigned another improved room. On two other occasions when we had questions, the customer service was poor - the staff had a condescending attitude. For instance, I explained my request to one staff member who directed me to the priority access line. When I got up to the counter, the representative said that in the future I needed to use the other line - but I explained that they had directed me here, but she seemed adamant it was my wrongdoing. On the other occasion, my partner had a simple question for the cashier and was given a nasty attitude from the staff member in return. So, there are certainly pros and cons about the Luxor. But overall it worked out for us, and the self-checkout was easy. The bed was pretty comfortable too, and the bath tub was nice to have in the room. Our room didn't have a fridge though."
