"It was a very pleasant and comfortable stay, at a reasonable rate for the area. It is close to a couple of good shopping centers, with easy access to Carmel Valley, and downtown Carmel-By-the-Sea.
When we checked in, we were given a coupon for a complimentary happy hour appetizer at their restaurant. We took advantage of this and dined there as well. The food, while not Seventh & Dolores, was very good, as were the libations.
The room was spacious enough, and clean. The bed was comfortable...

"Perfect location where we walked everywhere. The food was delicious, the staff friendly! We stayed in the Cliffs with a spectacular view but the lodge was a cozy vibe as well. Wine and cheese by the creek was a good break from the sun. Definitely will go back."
