Was right next to ocean, harbor, and walking trails. The night we stayed the northern lights made a huge display, it was outstanding! Rooms were very nice, recently remodeled, everything was great!

The Inn was great. Very clean and nicely upgraded. Quiet and peaceful. Location was perfect for husband’s fishing trip. Everything is close by walking distance.

The property is right on the waterfront. Stores/restaurants walkable. Owner is very friendly and very helpful. Rooms clean and uniquely decorated. I’ll be back for another stay.

We went on a one night get away, and it was a blast! The hotel room was beautiful and the view of the marina and looking out on the Main Street was awesome. We loved being so close to everything and being able to walk around. The room was very clean and put together well, we will definitely stay here again!

The stsff of this property were very nice and helpfull and accomidating. They allow pets wich is awesome because my dog gose every were and they were very acomidating when we went to clam but one of us asked to stay behind s little after check out time. The room was amazing roomy and an awesome view.

It's temporary, I assume, but there is construction going on with attendant mess adjacent to the parking lot. Sound carries too well between rooms. The room was cold until I turned up the faux fireplace heater. The heat doesn't reach the bathroom so that stayed cold. (Not icy cold. Just colder than I'm used to). The room was plain but clean. There was a nice table but uncomfortable plastic chairs. The free power outlets were mostly on a wall with no furniture to hold miscellaneous devices charging. Nice bed. Plenty of pillows.

Great renovations ongoing at the property- will love to go back once finished ( maybe with a restaurant?) Only thing not yet done in our room was trim work otherwise like new room. Easy access & communication as done by text with codes. Loved location on harbour - easy Walking Around & seeing sites of Westport!

This place is pretty nice, I like the view of the harbor. Fish shack being a couple mintues walk is a huge plus. The rooms where clean, warm, and comfortable. My room 105 could use a little work. The toilet is very tall, no bathroom fan, and no privacy film on one side of bathroom window. Not that big of a deal in the day time but at night people can see right in. Still all in all I was very happy with my stay.

We have stayed in Westport 3 times in the last couple years & this was our first time at the saltwater inn… sure won’t be our last either! We absolutely loved everything about the inn. we stayed in a King Suite Room with a view of the fishing boats/marina/harbor. We loved every second of it. We were within walking distance of the viewing tower that looks over the other side of the harbor & so many restaurants. Merino’s Seafood Market was within walking distance & we ended up going 3 times because the food was so good. Cant wait to come back in October!

Loved the location, looking out on the marina was fabulous!! The room was clean, updated and cozy with the fireplace. The only issue was the window needed caulking, rain was pouring in! The staff placed towels down so it didn’t affect me. I haven’t been to Westport for over 60 years. I would go again and stay at the Saltwater Inn!!!

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean (it's newly renovated) with a great view of the marina and shops. If the bed had been on the opposite wall, the view would have been spectacular, but it would have disrupted the feng shui of the room. The digital fireplace/heater was a very nice touch. The shower is a good size, but the shower head is not adjustable. The king bed was VERY comfortable, too. I wasn't sure about the no-touch check-in, but it worked out perfectly. The negatives: the entry door is not sealed quite right, so it allows some air to come through (and a bit of outside noise), but that also adds to some flow-through ventilation with the windows open; not a bad thing, but it's a thing. Also, there is a very bright outdoor light that shines through the windows in the sink/fridge/microwave room which filters into the sleeping area. We simply took a wall hanging and blocked most of it, but still... The faucet does not extend over the sink properly getting items on the counter wet. The biggest negative would be that the walls have ears; we could hear the people next door from inside the bathroom. One thing to keep in mind is that Westport is a working fishing port, so there is some early-morning preparations (not a lot) that might disturb you, but it also adds character. We really enjoyed watching tourists and locals move about the area. Also, looking out the entry door is the ocean view. We recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

washroom without ventilation, but has a small window around 6 feet above ground that can be opened. window has clear glass which people can peek insides. feel unsafe so use towel to cover the glass. No space to put body washer and shampoo insides shower, have to bend down to get those on floor.

My room was on the second floor overlooking the harbor with windows on two sides of the room. Given the very rainy weather one of the days I was there, it was quite pleasant to have such a view. I would definitely choose room 216 again.
