"always feel at home at the Edison"

"The hotel was in an excellent location walking distance to nearly everything! The hotel and room was nice and clean. Very small rooms, very expensive. The check in process was horrible! They do not allow early check in and make you pay $6 per bag to hold your luggage until the room is ready. That's the most ridiculous think I've ever heard! I was already paying $300+ a night, and now you're going to charge me $6 PER bag to hold my luggage for 2-3 hours because you didn't get the room ready?! Totally felt nickle and dimed! They tell everyone to come back and check in at 4pm and then there's a HUGE line to check in that moves incredibly slow. We stood in line for over 30 minutes and we were near the front of the line."

"Went to drop off our luggage before room was ready and they demanded a tip. If I knew I would just leave it at my last stay since they don’t charge and it’s not super inconvenient for me to go back anyways. Coffee machine was broken. I was aware of construction and knew what I signed up for but really didn’t expect them to work on the room directly above and every morning it sounded like they will break through the ceiling. Even if they just skip a room or an entire floor would have made a huge difference."
