"The first night we had the most horrible sleep. The bed had a huge dip in the middle and had completely lost all its support. We approached the desk the next morning and were advised we could be moved straight away to level 12 (we were on 16) or we could be put in a new room after 2pm. We opted after 2pm and while out checked what we had booked. I had paid extra to be put in a room on level 22 and higher. Realised they had not initially put us in this level room. The rooms were identical on each floor and very dated. Need modernising but are tidy. They are not spacious at all. There were three of us in the room and it was tight. Very limited space for bags. We were provided with two towels for three people, two mugs etc. luckily we were not spending much time at the hotel. It was sufficient for what we required but if planning on spending time at the hotel I would suggest elsewhere. The pool is quite small once you get quite a number of people in it. The men at the door were lovely and all very helpful."

"The location is convenient, with major tourist attractions reachable within a 20-minute walk. It was very nice to have both a washer and dryer in the room. There is plenty of storage space for clothing in drawers and cabinet shelves as well as plenty of space (over a 4-foot expanse) to place our toiletries on the vanity —something that has gradually disappeared in many newly renovated hotels. We also enjoyed a great view of the city, and the staff was friendly. However, there were a few issues. The shower room leaked when the showerhead was used in a portable way. The AC remote control did not function properly, so we were unable to adjust the temperature. Although staff came to fix it twice, the problem was not resolved. Additionally, the AC fan made an annoying high-pitched noise. Overall, I would rate this stay a 4.5."

"While we did eat breakfast and it was wonderful the rest of the place was poorly remodeled had an odor and some of the staff not so friendly. It is next to the train station and you can hear and feel it when passing under the hotel"

"Great location for exploring the city, lovely staff very helpful it was a shame the hotel bar was closed on Sunday night even though it was Anzac long weekend. Must see spectacular view of the harbour from level 8 roof top. Can’t wait till they start and finish the new renovations which is desperately needed."
