"The room was not cleaned well. There was a bow tie found in the corner of the room so you know the floor is not being completely vacuumed. Hair in the tub and bathroom counter. Checking in was very difficult and delayed. Despite having reservations and checking in, it took over 30 minutes to get a key made after I had given my reservation partly due to a new system limitation. Understandably there was only one person at the desk and multiple parties awaiting their needs. The tasks IMO...

"The hotel staff friendly and helpful. The hallways and lobby clean and beautifully decorated and scented. The beds very comfy. The pillows soft. The bathrooms clean and stocked with some toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Along with two fluffy robes and towels. "The room smelled of tobacco smoke, there was a spare bed haphazardly folded with the sheets half falling out, like an unmade used bed, right inside the entry door greeting us with a trailer trash kind of feeling, absolutely not an upscale hotel. All of the hotels near the lake were booked so unfortunately we had no choice but to book this hotel against our better instinct's. "I’ve stayed at this hotel often. Location location location. This time my room seems to have been renovated. The bathroom specifically. Looks to be mostly new. And despite World Cup soccer and weddings and business meetings the property felt wide open and spacious. Parking is a little more expensive this time. The front desk staff and coffee shop cafe staff are permanently happy and smiling. I will be staying here again."
