"The property was pleasant. Our stay in August was in an Oceanfront suite on the 4th floor, but fell short of our prior stay. The Oceanfront balcony was nice with ample space. The balcony furniture consists of Adirondack chairs that are incredibly uncomfortable. We added pillows to them, allowing us to sit out there. The suite was not well-cared for. There was a broken drawer in the kitchen that wouldn’t close or open properly, hanging out. The doors to both the bathroom and bedroom squeaked very loudly when opened or closed, which was quite unpleasant that we added some spray to stop the terrible noise. The beds were okay, but not super comfortable, and they also squeaked. The furniture in the suite was all scratched up and just okay in comfort. I understand that sometimes guests don’t value the quality of the accommodations, but I believe the staff or the responsible person should take the initiative to fix these minor issues. The property was renovated in 2025, and instead of letting it now deteriorate, they should make the extra effort to keep it in good condition. This stay was also marred by the thousands of jellyfish that caused numerous injuries. It was the worst in 50 years, but the hotel failed to inform us about the hazardous conditions upon check-in, which they should have done. We only discovered this information from another couple who were staying at the property. Ocean City also chose not to advise swimmers of this condition either, which was a real danger."
