The Pink Lodge White Sands suite sits overlooking the ocean and beach. Incredibly relaxing. Service lovely and personal and breakfast good. Loved our stay.

Magnificent position right on the beach with superb Ocean views. We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay but yes it could do with some smartening up and back up power facility during load shedding. Altogether great value for money.

The property had a spectacular view of the ocean however, it is in serious need of updating. The breakfast was wonderful. The showers and bathroom were not up to par and actually a fall risk.

Very disappointing. Needs major repairs.

Unfortunately the room was in a very poor state of repair. Lots of water damage and stains. Black mould in various areas, damaged furniture and torn lampshades. Toilet was hanging off the wall. No toilet/bathroom door so no privacy if you went to the loo. No shower door and rain shower hanging off the wall, which completely flooded the bathroom and bedroom when you used it. Photo’s of bathroom on website are for a completely different room. The photo they are using on site has bed across a set of panelled wardrobe doors, the central two doors, which previously disguised the entrance to bathroom are now completely missing. The photo completely gives the wrong (and better) impression of the room. We arrived very late and too late to complain and in the end we decided just to put up with it. Really really disappointed. Staff were friendly enough, beach location is amazing but the Seagull room we were in needed gutting for sure.

Great potential, but a serious set of issues.

We wanted to love this place. The location and house is sublime. The staff is very nice as well. The problem is that we payed a great deal for two nights, but there was no hot water for the entire stay. On the morning we were leaving, prior to check out time, they just shut off the water altogether with no warning. They did give us 10% off for one night. But that was hardly compensation for the water situation. I just can’t recommend this place.

Nice place for a relaxed weekend

Is a house from the 60's, a bit dated but with a great view and located in a great sport (dune). The host are very friendly and got us a reservation in very nice restaurante.

Lovely location on the beach. Large well furnished room. Excellent host. General maintenance ongoing while we were there as some minor maintenance needed, but still happy to recommend this lovely place.

We booked the luxury room which was outdated and definitely needs a revamp (especially the bathroom). The pictures show a completely different bathroom.

The property is ON the beach. The beach is beautiful to look at but dangerous to swim. Currents are dangerous. Not a place to swim. The Lodge itself is in bad need of repairs. As we call in America, I is a TEAR DOWN. Lovely vegetation are totally unkept, not maintained, not even cleaned.

We were disappointed with the condition of the guest house. It is a bit run down and the bathroom was not what was advertised on the website. It is old and rusted and very small. The view and access to the beach was awesome and there are no complaints

Beach cottage casual but with elegant touches

An amazing venue - right on the beach. The decor is beach cottage casual and lots of little touches are found in the decor and amenities - your patio has a lounge chair with comfie cushions, there are beach towels as well as bath towels, air con and heating, electric blankets for the chilly winter nights to make the bed even more cosy, lovely linens, toiletries in the bathroom include items like bath salts and cotton pads, etc. The rooms are all different but all face the beach. There is a mini bar with wine, beer, snacks, drinks and water - all very reasonably priced. The rooms we stayed in had full kitchens, tables for eating at and games to play - all the thoughtful touches to welcome guests. In the morning, the breakfast is amazing with a large assortment of options, all served beautifully. Our car was even washed before we left. The host was helpful and a font of information for the area. Being able to walk along the beach to an amazing restaurant was lovely too. And not a touch of pink anywhere so don't let the name put you off. Highly recommended.

Wonderful setting, look out for the dolphins.

Lovely place, great views of beach and sea, lovely to get a background hum of the waves. Breakfast covered all bases and the breakfast room also make the most of the great views, with pods of dolphin going by every morning. Very good WiFi, full DSTV channels.
