The location was great — conveniently located next to a Dollar General, which definitely came in handy. While I understand the reasoning behind the request to leave car keys in the hotel room, I personally don’t agree with this practice and found it a bit uncomfortable. The rooms themselves are extremely dated. Given the cost of the stay, it seems reasonable to expect some minor updates. Simple upgrades like new lampshades and fresh comforters would go a long way in making the rooms feel more modern and inviting. A little attention to these details could really enhance the overall guest experience.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience was so bad I feel obligated to warn others. From the very start, the check-in process was beyond frustrating. The office is only open for one hour a day to check in, and after that, no one is around. I was given a key, but when I went to my room, I found the door already ajar—which was concerning enough in itself. Once I stepped inside, things only got worse. The room was an absolute disaster. The furniture was old and falling apart, the bed was outdated and uncomfortable, and the fluorescent lights made the space feel cold and uninviting. The smell was unbearable, like the place hadn’t been cleaned or even swept in days. The bathroom was equally awful—dirty pipes, holes in the walls, and an overall feeling of neglect. Kids loud and in the pool at 1230am The only positive thing I can say is that the air conditioner worked. Beyond that, there was nothing redeeming about the room. To make matters worse, the key barely worked. After leaving and trying to return, I found myself locked out. When I called maintenance, I was actually told I’d have to “turn the key and kick the door ” just to get in. That’s not only unacceptable but completely unsafe. Overall, this was one of the worst lodging experiences I’ve ever had. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Staff is super friendly. It's not the greatest looking place and some things feel sketch but, in the end, this place feels like going to your uncle's place that's always a little off but it's serviceable and not awful and kinda feels like home. It could use some improvements, mostly with updating the aesthetics but if you're looking for reasonable prices and closeness to the Boardwalk and you don't care how things look, it's a great place.

Para hacer el check in hay que esperar mucho tiempo porque en la oficina no hay nadie trabajando entoces hay que esperar hasta que ellos quieren llegar, el cuarto es incómodo y el lavamanos se tapaba. El cuarto es horrible por el precio que cobran. No recomiendo a nadie hospedarse en ese lugar.

Had to wait longer to check in. The manager/worker came in without warning to fix something while I was in the shower and didn’t announce himself at all or let me know he was there until I was out of the shower. Very unprofessional and quite scary.

Only positives were the pool being opened all night and the amount of space. This establishment is run down. There was black mold in the bathroom. There were holes and broken fixtures. There was a gas leak and the maintenance man literally put tape over the nozzle and left. A family member had to turn off the gas. We had no hot water. They were not going to and were not going to find us other arrangements. It was okay for the amount of time i was there but terrible overrall.

The only thing great about this motel is its location. 1 block from the boardwalk by the third pier. This alone keeps them in business. The room was clean, but otherwise not much else good to say. The staff are hard to reach. The rooms are very old and held together by duct tape. The check in and out times are ambiguous at best. The parking is rough because you are also blocking someone in or being blocked in.

Kids were in pool until 230 in the morning screaming. No parking . Just an uncomfortable feeling the whole time and drugs were everywhere. Room was ancient and small with no cable. I waited for them to clean our room everyday and they never came all week. No one was in the front office “ever” They had a customer come tell me that my car was blocking them in when I had to park on street in an illegal parking spot. Pool was dirty and it was the worst vacation I have ever had. I came all the way across country and for nothing. A waist of money and my time.

Murky Review

I should have expected the motel to be not perfect but it less than that. They had two pools, both i wouldn’t even put my toes in. A clean pool probably would have changed how i felt about this review. They were extremely murky and need to be shocked, times two. The showers were not clean looking and the equipment could really use an upgrade. The comforters had stains. TVs were smart TVs, which was nice. The parking situation was suboptimal. You would park people in and if the car needed to be moved you left your keys in your room and the manager would move them. That was an unwanted anxiety. As for location, it was a great spot. Manager was friendly. When I checked in someone was giving their keys in stating “ we are leaving, this is not what we expected.” They accepted they weren’t getting any type of refund…
