The staff at front desk was very unprofessional. Stay away from this hotel, I was charged for the room and didn’t even get to spend the night there because the person at the front desk was having a bad day and refused to provide service….. Stay away from this please…..I booked with Expedia but they WILL NOT HELP YOU on getting your money back or getting you a different hotel.

Perfect for a no frills, low cost option for a one night stay. Clean, new carpet and paint in hall and rooms. Tub faucet leaked so we had to listen to the constant drip.

The $50 extra charge for damages. I wasn't expecting that at all because your site stated the cost was 175.00 and then they added on the charge at the site and it has nowhere in our description that we would have got charged the extra 50 unless you need to pay for extra benefit..like having a pet, any of the other items that were listed. It was a very sad deal because we were trying to stay there while my mother-in-law had surgery to give her a ride home the next day.

Rooms were being remodeled and my room wasn’t completely furnished Toilet clogged- they handed me the plunger. Since no dresser or clothes rack- manager suggested hanging my suits over a chair and my shirts on the shower curtain rod

Willmar was a good location for my work in the area. My room faced a busy highway and there were construction workers who left at 6:00 am and slammed doors throughout the building. My major concern however was the attitude of the employees. This is a family owned operation and they all need some customer service training. We mostly interacted with a young man who has made it his policy to never smile, greet a customer or acknowledge them in any way. It makes me uncomfortable to say hello and get no response, never have anyone say hello, never have anyone smile. I felt like an intruder rather than a customer. When the tv in the room didn’t work, it seemed like a big hassle for the front desk. It turned out that painters had removed a cable so definitely not my fault but I felt like I had ruined the guy’s evening. Maybe some of the problem is a language barrier but the owners need to make customers feel more welcome

Beware
Not sure if it was in remodel transition, but room was recently painted as if a 5 year old did it. Even paint on the phone! Handicap bath bars falling off tub. Towels frayed and dingy. Breakfast offered cereal but no milk. Building not secure, back door lockable. We almost walked out, but were barely there.
