The front desk clerk, Ben, was friendly and precise. I had made the reservation on Expedia, and we were traveling with a small dog, so he had to charge the $15 fee to a credit card. The property has been renovated and is clean and new. There were some construction vehicles parked at the back of the building that were taking up quite a bit of space, but they left after we returned from dinner.

Although an older property, this hotel was very clean and well kept. Maid service worked all day cleaning rooms and there were ground keepers on the property doing spring clean up and mulching. Front desk staff was very pleasant. There is a large grassy area for pottying dogs. My only complaint was there was a dog in room 105 while I was there that barked non-stop for well over 3 hours. I was several rooms down the hall and it was very annoying, even with the TV on. I'm sure they could hear it at the desk and got complaints about it. I don't think it should have been allowed to continue that long. Don't get me wrong, I love dogs and was, in fact, traveling with my own dog for a show but I would never allow my dog to carry on non-stop like that. There were a lot of dogs at the hotel that weekend and this dog carrying on was making other dogs bark but nothing to the extent that it was.
