Relaxing and peaceful

Peaceful and relaxing accommodation. King beds very comfortable. Would love to stay in winter and enjoy the fireplace. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Donkeys an added surprise

The manager Glen was so friendly and welcoming upon arrival, he not only spoke to my husband and myself, but also our children too. He showed us how to feed the donkeys and welcomed us back to feed them at any time. He was quick to reply to any messages with questions we had. There was a welcome package on arrival and the cabin was beautiful and clean with everything we needed (even stuff we didn't think of; glad wrap, paper towel etc). The place was immaculately kept. We had no reception (Keep that in mind if needed) but we absolutely loved disconnecting and spending time as a family with games, walks, feeding the donkeys, heading into Maleny etc. It was beautiful and we will definitely be back!!

Very disappointed with my stay ended up leaving at 11pm on our second night. Sheets were dirty on arrival as were bath towels. The only blanket supplied smelt like it had never been washed. Bottled water was supposed to be supplied and never was. Area was beautiful as was the location. The property has an amazing amount of potential but unfortunately won’t be staying here again

Nature lovers bring your microscopes

Easy checkin via a text before arrival. Fantastic location. Was expecting a Jetted Bath but got a double shower instead. There were a lot of bugs in the cottage upon arrival. It was endless. If you like nature, you will love this cottage. Dirty sheets encountered first night but remedy quickly by reception next day. No Wifi but internet access available for emergency at reception. This includes only having access to local tv….as far away as Darwin! Encouraged us to roam the surrounding area - Quadbiking and Maleny Botanical Gardens…great experiences but outside if this we sat every night on the cottage balcony and played cards. Something we wouldn’t do at home with every known device available to us. This was nice for the soul. One other thing I would like to say, if you need a firm bed to be romantic this is not your cottage. Prepare to sink to the middle, holding on like mountain climbers. Overall, we enjoyed our experience in Witta/Maleny, the good, the bug and the ugly.
