"Elevator was working on the day of check in and after that it was out of service. They did not fix it the next day or two. I was given the room in 5th floor and i had to use stair for all 5 floors to carry breakfast and luggages etc every day for almost 4-5 times(stayed for 2 days). While checking out, i carried suitcases from top floor. TV channels was no working inside the room. I used the cast only. It would be great if i can get any refund."

"This place is suffering from poor management and economic issues. The soda machines were inoperable, depleted housekeeping staff, the continental breakfast was non existent, and their was stereotypical behavior ( dark skinned bigotry). I wouldn't recommend this place, eventhoughy room was clean. I wouldn't recommend this placem I give it a 3/10"

"Very nice owners and clean room. No bugs, no roaches. None. The only bad thing is the pet fee. Staying here a week and they charge $30 a day for two cats. That gets expensive! Our room does not at all smell like cats. My wife got a small mop from the store and mops twice a day to keep everything very clean. We believe it is important to leave a room cleaner than when ypu came. A few other things that were undesirable was some homeless guy running back and fourth on the sidewalk next to the motel...

"The best part of staying at the Fairfield was the very hospitable staff. Requests for assistance (more towels, direction to restaurants and the River Walk) were met with friendly demeanor. Breakfast was the usual "free" fare: sausage, crumbly eggs, waffles, breads, cereal, etc. I didnt use their parking, which was by valet only. I parked elsewhere, which was cheaper and offered self parking with in-and-out privileges. Good location. Walkable to the River Walk, Alamo, River Center Mall,...
