"The property was neat and clean and has pretty much everything you need for a short stay. We came with our 9 month old and the host provided us a crib. There is no air conditioning or parking included but there are spots available for a fee. To park overnight we paid 10 CHF. "

"We were unable to access the accommodation: upon arrival, we found ourselves in front of code boxes, no response to calls to the owner between 4 PM and 5 PM, no calls from him despite the message left on voicemail in English, no email indicating the codes. "A place of pro's and con's... - location - middle of old town - very quiet and good location. - easy to access, key locker worked well - Flat had been well cleaned, EXCEPT for the toilet seat which had accumulated many months of yellow stain on both sides... needed cleaned properly with bleach/ anti-bacterial. The shower is also getting a little cold around it.. - The room was big enough for the double bed and sofa bed. However, no way would I try 4 people in there are the bathroom is so small...

HERMITAGE Lake Lucerne - Beach Club & Lifestyle Hotel

"We loved it here! It was the perfect spot to enjoy all that Lake Lucerne has to offer, with beautiful lake access and close enough to enjoy the energy and sights of the city. We didnt realize until half way through our stay we could ride the #24 bus for free (included with hotel reservation) into town and to the transportation museum. Definitely make sure you ask for the print out. The rooms are lovely, the food in the restaurant is DELICIOUS, especially the dinner. Everyone who worked there was so kind. There is even a trail to visit a beautiful non-touristy castle that has an adorable little cafe- must visit! They will tell you the way. Make dinner reservations for around 8 so you can watch the sunset! Gorgeous! "

"We booked last minute due to a scam air bnb and we were delighted with I is Budget!! I recommend 100% if you just want a clean, helpful, friendly, safe place to enjoy Lucerne from. Yes - the rooms are small and yes you don’t get the luxuries of non-budget hotels but it’s perfect! The price cannot be beaten for what you get. The breakfast is good: healthy, a variety, and plentiful. "

Horrible experience

"Horrible experience. Reached around 6pm. No one present at the property. Could not enter. Need to speak a guest who helped to do stuff online check in. had 2 rooms, none have toilet, dirty, next to main road, too noisy, could not sleep, no cooling arrangement, too hot. Next morning met staff, very unfriendly, for example a big black dog freely came into restaurant while have breakfast, asked owner to lead and he said "it is his dog and it is his property so he would not". Though he took the dog away. Rude staff, never recommend for any British visitors"
