"Clean, efficient, centrally located but too large."

"This location is perfect if you want to see a lot in a short amount of time. Its a short walk to Times Square & Broadway and many other things. Also located across from the Penn station which was convienent for getting to from the airport (I came in from Newark). Plenty close to spots with ATMs, food, & convenience stores). Room was clean every day. Staff were all very friendly & helpful. The Rueben in the Tiktok restaurant downstairs was good and came out quick. It was also open 24/7 which was great when I forgot to eat all day and realized how hungry I was late at night. All that said when I make it back to New York I will definitely book The New Yorker again. And will recommend it to others planning on going to NYC."

"Room good - not that small for midtown. Comfortable bed. Bathroom large enough. Breakfast area is big but not big enough for how many guests use it. We could never get a seat. Breakfast quality was fine. Elevators were fine outside of peak times (am). Rooftop bar was very nice and not crowded. "

"The hotel has a great location, but the front desk staff was disappointing. On the day we checked out, we asked for bottles of water and the receptionist was rude and said they do not offer water to guests. Very disappointed experience !"

"The staff, and amenities were great, the only complaint I have is that even a fter all windows closed and curtains down, some traffic noise came thru."
