"We stayed here for the waterpark. The kids really enjoyed the waterslide and pirate ship area. The pool area was nice. The room needed some serious TLC .. there was paint chipping and screw holes in the walls they never covered up. The bathroom was disgusting. All the caulk around the shower was black. The room was so dark. We had every light on and still couldn’t see. The layout of the room was nice and spacious, it has potential if they’d put a little work into cleaning it up."

"When we checked in with another couple we were placed at opposite ends of the motel even after we requested to be close to each other. Then after checking into one of the rooms there was water all over the bathroom floor and it smelled to pee, so they were moved to another room. Then as we were trying to go to sleep our wall started shaking and we discovered that we were next to the laundry room and they were doing laundry at 9:00 at night. "Place is being remodeled, but they tried putting me in a room that was not yet finished... then switched me to a room that already had someone in it. After the 3rd try, it was a halfway decent room but TV didn't work. At least the water was hot in shower and fairly clean. They might need to rethink the crew they have painting for the remodel... it's very sloppy work."

"It was a very well kept property. The rooms were clean and staff was hospitable. The only thing we would have liked that was NOT included was a continental breakfast. They did have a restaurant attached that served breakfast. It was just an extra expense we weren’t anticipating. Otherwise, extremely happy with our stay."

"The staff were lovely. The lady who checked me in (I’m sorry, I don’t remember her name) was such a delight and a much needed friendly face after a long day. The room, however, was a different story. There were gross stains on the pillowcases and sheets and the shower had mold on the curtain. There was ickiness (putting it politely) on the toilet seat and the bathroom reeked of mold. It was late so I threw down a tshirt on the pillow, skipped the moldy shower, and went to bed."
