I had no idea what to expect as my partner had chosen the hotel. She did very well. We arrived the the small town to a very curtious southern welcome. We love the accent and the manners and they love our quaint English ways.
The hotel is situated right in the middle of the town. The receptionist were were welcoming. The room very very nice clean and well presented. We particularly liked the basket breakfast. You leave the basket outside and in the morning there it is full.

I reviewed others who stayed here and I totally agree with all the high remarks. It was so clean. The bed was comfortable and receptionist was so nice. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

The bed would have been great if there had been a blanket under the bedspread but we had a mattress cover. After paying $125 we had to sleep under a mattress cover. That was bad.

Easy to find off the highway. Easy free parking. Welcoming friendly reception. Very clean and well maintained hotel. Coffee making facilities in room. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was a bit limited in choice, but good quality.

A lovely room with a window and fly screen that actually opened, so we could let the lovely mountain air into our room day and night. The pool is small but swimmable and the hot tub is lovely. The only place for possible improvement is the breakfast buffet - all the food is of good quality, but syrup is the only available waffle topping. It would be nice if we could also have chocolate chips, m&ms, chocolate sauce, nut sreads, fruit, etc.

I stopped here for an overnight en route from DC to Nashville.
The hotel is very close to the highway and I thought it would be noisy, however, this is the quietest place I have stayed outside of a tent on a mountain.
The room was well maintained and satisfactorily clean.
Wifi reception in the room was flakey, but reliable enough closer to reception.
There are typical roadside diner type places near to the hotel and the area around it is quite picturesque if you have some time spare to drive...
