"Our favourite place to stay in Scarborough! Although the pool section was getting a facelift again, was nice to have another option. The buffet breakfast was super and had different items one day to the next which was nice. They even provided a boxed breakfast since we had to leave really early in the morning to catch a flight! The only downfalls from our stay were: no spare toilet paper roll in room upon arrival, our phone wouldnt work to call the reception area and the fan in the bathroom didnt work so when taking a shower the mirrors would really fog up even in the entrance to the room. We also dont take super hot showers. Otherwise was a great stay as always and the front reception was helpful with everything!"

"Nice clean rooms, bed was comfy, breakfast was bang on, only thing that was disappointing was I needed a larger plate fir my Chicken Caesar Salad but when I went to ask for one they said they don't do that, so some of my Salad ended up on the floor."

"My husband, Daughter and I stayed at Seashells, Communication prior to arriving was great. Unfortunately I did not receive the email explaining that check in was between 2pm and 4pm, we arrived at 4.10pm, only just caught the receptionistas she was leaving, who was very obliging. Our 2 bedroom unit was very nice, and had everything you needed, a shared (Jack and Jill) bathroom with shower and bath, separate toilet and handbasin, which was great. Very quiet, and our patio had sea views, the other one had pool views. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again, the beds were super comfortable, and the white louvres great, but they are old, need painting and one broke when I moved it from open to closed. The apartment is spacious, the kitchen floor tiles are cracked so need replacing, the bathroom has no opening windows, just an extractor fan, which can lead to mould forming in the shower. The Dual handbasins were very handy, plenty of room in the bedrooms and wardrobe space. There is free onsite parking, but parking on the street is fine so long as you move your vehicle within the 2 hour limit after 8am in the morning. Plenty of restaurants along the water front, so many good choices. Really enjoyed our stay at Seashells, highly recommend it to everyone."

"Overall my room was nice. However at check in I was asked to provide a card for pre-authorisation. Iβve been asked many times before but on this occasion $300 was taken from my account immediately. On checking out I was told this will take between 5-10 days to be returned to me. On a holiday budget this wasnβt ideal. Also breakfast each day was always the same. No one made any special effort to offer tea or coffee or to make anything different at all. Positives were that the room was spacious, comfortable and conventionally for where I needed to be."

"Room was fine and clean but a bit sparse, overlooking the pool. There was only a kettle and sachets of instant coffee which we didn't use. On check-in we were greeted warmly (though the $300 bond was an irritating surprise for our one night stay) but on checking out, a different member of staff was less friendly. Having checked that we'd paid, we were told that we "... can go, and that they'll look at the bond once the room has been checked." The parking is $20 a night and seemed secure"
