"This older property suffers from substantial deferred maintenance and a desire to cut costs. Two examples are unscrewed (not missing) lightbulbs above the bathroom sink and a shower that would not turn on. There was absolutely no water. I acknowledge this is a 2 star propoerty, however, the low price does not offset the inconvenience. "

"After a bit of hassle checking in, we enjoyed our stay. The rooms are basic, but clean and spacious and the pool/tiki bar area relaxing. It’s an easy walk anywhere in town, so the location is perfect. We had a great breakfast selection that we weren’t expecting. And, the breakfast staff were really friendly - thank you for smiling at 6am!"

"Such a cute place to stay. Quiet. A short walk to a hidden downtown with fun shopping and restaurants ranging from sports bar to fine dining -- including the onsite restaurant, which was wonderful. We will be back!"

"This property (although run down) was so much fun. Your room overlooks the water and we saw a momma and baby manatee right by the retaining wall. The restaurant was incredible with more amazing views. Food and drinks were top notch. We loved having everything we needed in one spot. There is construction next door, and it looks like they are about half way finished, but we enjoyed the charm of a simple two story hotel. The shower head was very low and the pillows were a bit flat, but the benefits outweighed the negatives. It was inexpensive and checked the box for us."

"It is a beautiful place. The room was spotless and extremely comfortable. It came with everything we needed like kitchen essentials and shampoo and stuff. The decoration was nice too. Location was incredible, close to a shopping area and super close to the lake and nature preserves for manatees. Manager was super kind and helpful. 100/10 would come here again"

"Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, staff was kind, easy check in, room was quiet and comfortable. Pool was cold but it didn't slow the kids down at all. Great location on the edge of town. "
