"Property was always amazing! Our home away from home! A bird flew in our room from a rip in a window screen, but we got the poor guy out no problem and it was quite the fun experience! Can’t wait for the new brewery to open by the bay! Thanks Motel 6!"

"I first visited as a child in the 60’s with my parents - we had pancake breakfast in the restaurant , played on the beach, and Dad bought me a starfish necklace from the gift shop, that I still treasure. I stayed again with my husband seven years ago for his last trip to the beach. Returning again this week, it felt like home. It is the perfect setting to cozy in, soak in the sun, listen to the waves, reflect, and write. I most definitely will be back."

"I had to re-activate my card three times. Breakfast was hot and good, kitchen staff was very helpful. Recommend Guest Service Gold Customer Service Training for staff. :) Please reach out if you'd like to talk about getting them trained! :)"

"Breakfast was better than nothing. Boiled packaged eggs, cereals to choose from, yogurt, muffins, pre made waffles, bagels, breakfast sandwich you could heat up in microwave. Staff was helpful with local recommendations. We came for the beach and that did not disappoint!"

"This isn't a hotel. It's rehab center or something. Its the most run down piece of junk I've ever seen. And you don't know it until you get your keys. I will say the girl that works there is the nicest person. So don't be made at her.Take this place off of your list Expedia."

"Good parking, and walking distance from downtown and lots of restaurants. Small room but cute and comfortable. Big bathroom."

"Rooms were comfortable, ample parking and great location - about a block from the beach. Simple take-away breakfast (bagel, waffle, yogurt). Pool was open; we didn't use it but saw lots of families walking to it. It also had a dedicated lawn area for the dogs with poo bag dispenser. What made this place stand out was the staff - extremely friendly, helpful, kind. Thanks for a great stay."

"The room itself was nice, but that bathroom in the photos was not the bathroom I actually got, which was a bummer because that was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The balcony glass was so dirty you couldn’t see through it, but the staff was really pleasant and helpful and the salmon chowder was great. Breakfast was pre-packaged items and nothing was cooked. Overall it was a decent place to stay, but the photos were kind of deceiving and maybe didn’t match the price."

"Room cleanliness was great. Binoculars was a nice touch to have. Had dinner at the restaurant, it was good with wonderful view. Beach access with a quick walk crossing the street (not a busy road). Definitely would stay again."
