"Unfortunately, after having a beautiful stay only a couple of weeks ago, my second stay at the Rydges Melbourne wasn’t enjoyable.
The most upsetting part was, that the kettle in the room was full of ants. After cleaning them away I left the kettle outside for the cleaning staff to clean it. The next day, no action was taken and I discovered that the ants are crawling through the power plug. I’m afraid that I do have them in my luggage now. IMO they should urgently get pest control.
The second issue was the busy breakfast. Despite a hefty price tag of $39, I had to wait 15 minutes to get seated and then discovered that half of the food didn’t get replenished quick enough.
I won’t come again."
